The incumbent is highly collaborative, efficient, and capable of bringing relevant designs to life while adhering to brand guidelines and project requirements. In collaboration with a team of instructional designers, the Graphic Designer/Illustrator will act as a subject matter expert and primary creator/producer of all graphic/visual designs in the project to ensure a cohesive experience throughout the eLearning course based on existing style guides. Reporting directly to the Instructional Design Supervisor, the Graphic Designer/Illustrator will work alongside the project eLearning Designer/Multimedia Developer and be solely responsible for designing, developing, producing, approving, and maintaining graphic assets - including digital graphics, illustrations, logos, banners, infographics, charts, and characters - for the eLearning project. The Graphic Designer/Illustrator is part of UCLA Extension's professional learning and development team and will be the main dedicated graphic designer in the build of an eLearning course project for the healthcare field, in partnership with UCLA Health.
